Note: Students must meet the American Red Cross course requirements to pass.
If students cannot complete the course, they may return to a future class to complete the requirements within 2 months. Lifeguard Staff has a No Refund policy.

We will be practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and promoting hand washing or hand sanitizer.

American Red Cross - Shock
Lifeguards providing first aid should be watching for the signs and symptoms of shock.

These include restlessness, irritability, pale or cool skin, rapid breathing and pulse, confusion, less talking or responsiveness, and excessive thirst.
(Treatment: Call 911, have them lie down, keep them warm, reassure them, no food or fluids)
